Life sure is funny sometimes. Just as I was trying to convince myself not to interrupt my day with a nap because I have so much work to do (darn headaches!), I remembered that I needed to share some thoughts on our lemongrass tincture. Before I sat down to write, I indulged in a bit of this month’s tincture myself, and I can already feel it beginning to work. Hmmm, maybe I won’t need that nap after all! If you haven’t subscribed to August’s Out of the Woods Apothecary Box, that’s ok. You can purchase our Lemongrass Tincture in our market on its own to experience its pure magic for yourself!
Lemongrass is considered a mild sedative. It provides calming effects to help with your sleep patterns, calm your anxiety, and soothe an upset stomach. Matt and I decided to grow some of our own lemongrass out in the garden this year so that we can get a bit more creative with our homeopathic healing methods. Let me tell you, this tincture might be my favorite yet. I think it’s mild enough to take every day, just to keep up with your overall wellness. Yet, it’s strong enough to knock out even some of the worst headaches, stomach pains, and even arthritic pains you’ve experienced.
As we head into the fall season, our lemongrass tincture might become even more useful as it’s been known to help with sore throats and laryngitis. It offers strong antibacterial effects and can help fight to keep your body as healthy as possible – a strong plus for the teachers out there who will soon be heading back to work with those germ-infested students! Lemongrass can also act as a natural diuretic, helping to ease digestion, indigestion, and other stomach discomforts. Regardless of your choice of use, making this lemongrass tincture a part of your daily routine is sure to keep you up and running and feeling as healthy as possible. Be sure to let us know what you think!
