The Mayernik Garden is 100% underway. I can't believe how much has grown in just a few short weeks. We've had some wacky weather....real hot and dry and then super cold with a chance of frost. We are now just starting to get some rain which the plants really are loving. Everything in the garden looks so vibrant and healthy.
If you saw my post on Facebook this past weekend, we have to date, over 70 types of plants out in the garden. 70 different plants! That's crazy to think about when it's literally about 30-40 feet from my kitchen! I'm so excited to share with you some of the herbs, veggies and fruits that we have planted. We added a lot to the garden this year as we reworked some of our growing areas and created more space around the house to plant edibles.
I welcome you to come take a quick tour with me and visit some of our plants. The one plant once again I am most impressed with is the rhubarb. This weekend, I will be making some desserts, sauces and sweets with it, so be on the lookout in the near future for some new recipes.
