Ailments

The following is a listing of common ailments.

  • Allergies

    A condition in which the immune system reacts abnormally to a foreign substance

  • Anxiety

    A feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome

  • Asthma

    A condition in which a person's airways become inflamed, narrow and swell, and produce extra mucus, which makes it difficult to breathe.

  • Bronchitis

    Inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from the lungs.

  • Bruises

    An injury appearing as an area of discolored skin on the body, caused by a blow or impact rupturing underlying blood vessels

  • Burns

    Damage to the skin or deeper tissues caused by sun, hot liquids, fire, electricity, or chemicals

  • Cardiovasular

    Relating to the heart and blood vessels.

  • Cold & Flu

    A common viral infection of the nose and throat

  • Depression

    A mental health disorder characterized by persistently depressed mood or loss of interest in activities, causing significant impairment in daily life

  • Digestion

    The process of breaking down food by mechanical and enzymatic action in the alimentary canal into substances that can be used by the body

  • Dry Skin

    Uncomfortable condition marked by scaling, itching, and cracking. It can occur for a variety of reasons.

  • Headache/Migraine
  • Immunity

    The ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells.

  • Inflammation

    A localized physical condition in which part of the body becomes reddened, swollen, hot, and often painful, especially as a reaction to injury or infection.

  • Menopause

    A natural decline in reproductive hormones when a woman reaches her 40s or 50s

  • Menstral Cramps

    Pains in the abdomen and pelvic areas that can be experienced by a woman as a result of her menstrual period.

  • Muscle Pain

    Spasms of skeletal muscles are most common and are often due to overuse and muscle fatigue, dehydration, and electrolyte abnormalities

  • Respiratory

    Relating to or affecting respiration or the organs of respiration.

  • Sinus

    Symptoms include headache, facial pain, runny nose, and nasal congestion.

  • Sleep Aide/Insomnia

    Persistent problems falling and staying asleep.

  • Sore Throat

    Pain, scratchiness or irritation of the throat that often worsens when you swallow.

  • Thyroid

    Any dysfunction of the butterfly-shaped gland at the base of the neck.

  • Urinary Tract Infection

    An infection in any part of the urinary system, the kidneys, bladder, or urethra.
